An Unexpected Destiny

Nadia’s life could be that of any 18-year-old girl. High school, besties and her passion, basketball. In fact, she had been pinning her hopes for the future on this sport, until the bad news arrived: she didn’t get the scholarship that would have enabled her to continue her studies, and to get out of the low-income high-rise blocks in New Aquitaine where her family had taken refuge when they left war-torn Rwanda. 

It was at this point that she received the most incongruous proposal she had ever heard: to run for Miss France. A new horizon, outside the projects, of course, but Nadia, the sporty girl in a tracksuit with an explosive personality, among the beauty queens?

By taking her destiny into her own hands, Nadia is going to change her life and that of many others...
